Did anyone go to the Parelli tour last weekend? What did you think of it? They were supposed to have a new format this year, how was it? I didn't get to go so I would love to know how it went.

I was wondering how it went as well. Tommys mother and sister went Saturday morning. I was told they got there at 9:00 and at 12:30 they still had not done anything with an actual horse so they left. I was wondering what others opinions about it were.

Hi Suzie, I went both days. The first day was meant to be inspriational and the second was where they had the problem horses. The video clip are the students that made up the savvy team. The paint horse (Tango) on the pedestal was the problem horse from 2004. Pat said he was one of the top 3 most difficult problem tour horses he has ever had. On Sunday Erica, the horses present owner had her 7 year old daughter play the circling game with Tango. When she stopped, Tango dropped his head into the little girls hands so she could rub his face. Believe me, their was hardly a dry eye in the place...... including Pat. It was quite moving to see the transformation from the first time we saw the horse. Carol www.mydeo.com/videorequest.asp?XID=6113&CID=179890

Hey Carol, Thanks for sharing the video clip. It must have been interesting to see improvements in Tango. I remember him. Do they ride him? I did not go so I only know what they told me. Thanks for the info.
