;D ;D Hi Everyone, I am so excited because I got easy boots with cleats for all 4 feet for my 2 horses for winter/spring riding. I missed allot of riding the last couple years because the day would be comfortable but there would still be icy patches on the trails. I went out this past Saturday and the roads in the Natchaug State forest were really icy from where 4 WD trucks had driven after our big snowfall weeks ago...and the boots worked great!!! BTW the trails were fine, mostly snow and small patches of ice where normally there would be water. Now I can go riding whenever I want and know my horses will be safe. There is a back order on epic boots and the last time this happened they were coming out with new and improved...so don't get stuck with an old style if you don't think you'll use them.

Good for you Janeen. I miss most of the winter riding because of the ice but I'm not sure cleats would help when we get ice everywhere. You have the ideal place to ride living next to the state forest though. Didn't you used to use old macs? Do you like the easy boots better? I'm trying to decide which boots I want to get for Ace. He is generally comfortable but when we ride on gravel trails, he is always looking for the soft side of the trail, and as you know all of the trails in Ct are gravel. These last few days have been perfect for riding. This is my idea of winter.

Hi Jane and everyone...one thing I can attest to as far as the easy boots go is that Buster tripped when he had the old macs on from day one so I just wouldn't use them and he did fine without them but with the easy boots he doesn't trip/stumble at all!!! They are a much nicer fit...not clunky. Had 4 good rides with them even though we really didn't need them this past weekend. Happy New Year! Janeen
