Welcome to the board sonicboom. Glad you enjoyed the article. We are always looking for helpful information. What kind of horses do you have? Do you show or trail ride? Most of us are trail riders but we could add an area for show people if there is any interest. Again welcome............Jane

Hi Jane!
Thanks for the welcome, I am friends with Daybreaksadream and she told me about this forum! Love it! I have 4 horses 1. PerchX- Boomer that is him in my avatar photoshopped! 2.NASDHx -TItan 3.Quarter/arab- Dallas 4.HEINZ 57-Edward!!! I used to show(H/J), but now I am a Mom with no time, sometimes I dabble in pleasure classes. For the most part I trail ride for fun and ring ride and love pace events. Thinking about becoming a certified nutritionist as it has become a passion!

You have an interesting variety of horses. It's funny that horses are like potato chips, you can't have just one! Boomer is a handsome guy. My daughter has a Clydesdale-PercheronX. She originally bought her for vaulting for her 4-H group but has since moved to another barn and is using her for trail riding. When we go to Charleston to visit, I ride her on the trails and you would be hard pressed to fall off that horse. She sort of swallows you up when you sit on her and her gaits are soooo smooth. Nutrition is a very interesting subject. It certainly effects us all. I hope you get the chance to pursue it.

Welcome to the board sonicboom! I am Calamity Janes daughter.
I want to hear more about the nutritionist job, would that be for animals or people?
(Mom, I finally got on here, the base must have there firewalls down, yay!)

Thanks Sunshinesglow glad to be here. That would be equine....the only thing that is holding me back is finding a "great" program that does not require me to go back to college. I wouldn't have time for that

What about contacting one of the feed companies? They have reps who travel around and promote their feed. They might have their own training program.
