Hi Jane, You wanted hear about trail riding so here's one for the books. Thanks for hooking me up with Fay. What a fantastic time I had!!! She is a pleasure to travel and ride with. Lady is beautiful and in phenomenal shape....I don't think she broke a sweat on the 15 mile ride. Slim on the other hand was sweaty but not frothy. I was kidding with Fay about making a t-shirt that says I survived riding the Pachaug trails. Fay had warned me that Pachaug wasn't her favorite place to ride and she was right on! Just when you would get moving there would be a wash out with big old river rocks on the trail (no where close to a river). The course took us through a messy logging operation with downed branches covering the trail (if there was one) and with the torrenial rain we had the day before the puddles looked like small ponds that you could go fishing in. When Slim chickened out ...Lady would save the day and go forward and Slim would follow. Slim did great considering this was his longest ride ever. I was very proud of him. (and glad he didn't drop dead). Fay had everything know to modern science in her trailer, to make Slim comfortable after his long ride. The people were super friendly and the food was out of this world delicious. The weather was absolutely perfect. This outing will always stand out as an incredible ride/day. Thanks Ladysmom!

Hi Janeen, I am so glad you had a good time. I was thinking about you all day Sun. wondering how it was going. Fay is such fun to ride with but she rides way further and longer than I can handle anymore. I try to catch her when she is doing a short ride, which usually is around 2 or so hrs. Do you have anymore rides planned? We were looking at that brunch ride at Tyrone farm. I understand that is fun. It's some time in July. Thanks for sharing your ride..........Jane
