I have been so busy I have not really had a chance to post here. We went on Oct. 21st to the BCHA Haunted Trail ride at Goddard state park in RI. I had never been there what a great time we had. The trails are nice and wide and the footing along the trails is super. They also had a costume class and Spooky trail class in the arena. Both of those were very fun. The last obstacle in the trail class was the horse had to bob for an apple. Janeens horse Slim did this without a problem it was hilarious. We rode down along the beach on the sand too. The weather was beautiful it was about 65 that day. Janeen found one of the specially marked ghosts out along the trail and won a huge metal witch Halloween decoration. They had tons of great prizes for the raffle and the food was really good too.

Wow sounds like fun. I love the idea that the horse did the bobbing for apples. Do you know that Faye's ride is next weekend. She was planning the turkey dinner as we rode back and forth to the Equine thingy. I helped her serve last year but this year I want to ride. If I can get there at a reasonable time, I can get my ride in and help too. Maybe I'll see you there.

I have some pictures I will try to get them posted here. I can not make it to the Turkey Trot this year. The MA02-NBHA gymkhana winter series starts on that day. It is the first in a series of four shows. I will be taking Tuffy. I hope you have a good time it is always a nice ride she puts on. Although you may be a little cold this year, they say a high of 45 for sunday is possible. Im going to dress warm for the indoor. I would rather take layers off than be cold.

We used to go to the barrel races a lot when Heidi was riding with Chlake. The games are a lot of fun to watch. Good luck to you and Tuffy. Let us know how you are doing.

You will be missing the peak color here but we still have leaves on the trees. Hope you like brown.

We thought we had found some red leaves but alas the wind got them today and they are on the ground.

Well scoop them up and save them. I better see something, color or snow. I have been bragging to Bryan about how beautiful CT is and if he gets there and it is drab I will never hear the end of it!

Drab it is but you have a chance of snow. In fact the forecast says snow on Tues., about 6 feet I think. Be sure to bring your snowshoes. I'm sure Bryan will get a kick out of shoveling snow. We can introduce him to x country skiing. That will give him a good workout. Gosh, I can't wait for you to get here.

6 FEET! LOL I can't wait to tell him, he will die! He keeps asking if we are going to get snowed in! What a nerd! I remember I tried to x country ski one time. I was not sucessful, but pulling a sled behind the quad, now that is the ticket! I am so excited too, everyone is ready to get rid of me at work!
