How do you like it? Which one do you have? I am thinking about getting one for Ace as he has been very hard to fit. everything I put on him slides back. Larry used his on Ace at the last clinic and it fit. I am not a fan of western saddles but I see that they have several different styles. This saddle fitting can be a nightmare.

Hi Jane, I have a LJ wade, bought it from Steve at Allies. Took Day there to get fitted. I LOVE this saddle. It fits him like a glove. It was over $3000. but I will have it forever. You are welcome to stop by and check it out. Gina

Thanks for the offer Gina. Carol also has that saddle and it doesn't fit Ace. I have a Bates that I bought for my QH before I got Ace and it slides back so much that, if I don't adjust it during a trail ride, I end up on his rump ( an exaggeration ). The saddle fits my QH but there isn't any gullet that fits Ace. Janeen has the Casa Dosa which I rode but didn't realize at the time. She also had a terrible time finding a saddle that actually fit. She uses them on both her gaited horses and is very happy so I am pursuing that brand. Larry used one at the last clinic and it fit Ace but I wanted an English saddle however I am rethinking either an endurance or just going Western. This saddle fit thing is driving me nuts, short trip. Thanks for your input........Jane

Yes I saw that on their site. I have been thinking of getting an endurance type saddle tho as they seem to have more leather around you without the horn which I get hung up on. I have ridden English all my life and never thought I could be comfortable on a Western saddle but I have ridden on Carol's and Janeen's and found that I can ride comfortably ( other than a black eye trying to put that heavy thing on Ace) so I am rethinking what I want.

If you want to see the english type. Judy Belivue(sp?) who has a spotted saddle horse and rode in the Larry Whitesell clinic has one. I know her because she is a VHP member. Carol may have her phone number. If she doesn't I may have her e-mail.
